Save the Cows

All around the world there are people trying to make a dime by leveraging what they term 'livestock'.

The so called 'livestock' are actually animals who live life in imprisonment under unnatural circumstances as slaves to humans and they have virtually no rights to freedom or happiness.

Like you, I've wanted to do something to help these slaves live the life they deserve to live. So I put my head to thinking of a way to help get the cows off the conveyer belt and back into living a natural life they deserve.

Consider this...

A recent study showed that 1 in 10 people in the United Kingdom are vegetarian. Thats 6 million people. If each of those vegetarians were to equally contribute to this initial project the grand total of each contribution is a whole 5cents. Imagine how much valuable, but wasted land could be bought back if everybody actually made a decent contribution? Perhaps we could start to make a real positive impact on the planet and reverse the damage... Chip in.

Whats the win / win situation for everybody here?

There are 4 bodies to consider in this equation...

  1. The animals being tortured
  2. The torturers and profiteers of the animals
  3. Mother earth who has been stripped considerably
  4. The animal rights community at large

The challenge: how could all these bodies be made happy?

The animals obviously want to be free, living free of unnecessary suffering. The profiteers want to make their money. Earth wants her trees back on the lands. And the animals rights activists want to do more.

Introducing the initiative..

The Save the Cows initiative is an idea that vegetarians all around the world could tackle this issue within the confines of the legal system, by joining together and purchasing these properties and returning them back to nature. Its a complete throw away of your money with absolutely no returns directly. The idea is, that the millions and millions of vegetarians who are fragmented across the globe, when joined together actually have a massive wealth and potential to make huge shifts in the balance.

Here's how it works:

Together, we chip in whatever we can, when we can and find large land lots that have been degraded due to animal slave camps. We choose these places and we decide to buy them back and return them back to nature... with our help of course!

We invite the following people to habitat the property:

  • Veterinarians - the purpose is to take care of the creatures of the land
  • LandCare - with their support they will be happy to fill the property with cow happy trees
  • Biodynamic farmers - who's role is to revitalise the earth that has been damaged by the slave farm damage
  • Eco village craftsmen and woman who can build sustainable living structures to house the carers of the land and animals

A refuge for animals and refugees

These properties will become the home of tortured creatures who we rescue and buy back from the prison camps. The hope is that properties we buy also include the animals who have needlessly been suffering and we nurse them, along with the land back to healthy conditions.

A community home for eco people

Those among us who want to live free of the money grabbing world can opt to live in tune with the land. Planting trees, enhancing biodiversity. Focusing on things such as bringing frogs and butterflies back to the earth that has been stripped.

A haven for reforestation

With the right growth strategies, deforested land has been human assisted to have trees with trunks 30cm in diameter within just a few short years. Unbelievable but true. And I think even more is possible with the right mind and intention behind us.

An example for the world. An eco attraction for families

Imagine if instead of people visiting zoo's for the day out, they came and visited a reforested diverse and wildlife sanctuary. Where animals are running freely and peacefully. Where community minded individuals set an example of sustainable inhabitance of the land in harmony with its creatures. Imagine the impact this would make. Can you begin to see how if more children came into contact with the lovely bovines face to face how difficult they would find it to buy the beef burger or steak from the restaurant?
